Disturbing images of chath puja from Delhi

Chath Puja is mainly celebrated in the region of Northern India mainly in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. It is also celebrated in southern part of Nepal. 

It is celebrated 6th day of lunar month of  Kartika according to the Hindu calander. It is celebrated to offer prayers to solar deity, Surya to show gratitude and thankfulness for bestowing the bounties of life and to request for granting certain wishes.
